The leather we use is 1/2" wide and specially tanned, making it ultra soft and requires minimal upkeep. Most leashes take YEARS to break in, ours have that feeling right out of the box. These leashes are used by trainers and dog handlers all over the world. Once you feel the quality, you won't use anything else. 1/2" Solid brass hardware, can also be upgraded to a 5/8" Snap.
